Girl Scouts gives girls the opportunity to develop their self-confidence, courage and character in an accepting and nurturing environment so that they can become leaders in their own lives and in their communities.
Your support makes Girl Scouting possible for many girls. While a girl pays just $15 in annual dues, our council invests more than $300 to provide her with a full year of high- quality programs.
We depend on contributions from individuals, foundations, and corporate partners to make Girl Scouting affordable to every girl, regardless of her family income. Your gifts support the cost of membership, programs, camp, volunteer training, and so much more. Every dollar you give stays right here in our Arizona communities.
Girl Scouts–Arizona Cactus-Pine Council is a 501(c)(3) organization. We are committed to making the most of your support by following the Donor Bill of Rights. We provide careful stewardship of your donation, ongoing communications, and formal recognition for your generosity.
Kathryn Irene Cromley, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nev. Kathryn was an avid volunteer for many years and her passion was with Girl Scouts. Over the course of 45 years, Kathryn served the Arizona Cactus-Pine council on multiple levels. She was leader, co-leader, neighborhood manager, council-wide trainer and board member. In 2010, she received the Thanks Badge, which is given to a volunteer for extraordinary contributions to the Girl Scout Movement. She loved nature, and exposed her troops to many outdoor activities, including hiking in the Grand Canyon. Her most recent troop was near her home outside the Kingman area. We are grateful for her dedication to girls, the compassion with which she served, and the inspiration she has provided.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to the Arizona Cactus-Pine Girl Scout Council. Send via mail, Attn: Fund Development, 119 E. Coronado Rd., Phoenix, AZ. 85004 or click ‘Donate Now’.
